TORC

TORC: The Off-Road Championship Presented by AMSOIL is the nation’s premiere short-course, off-road truck racing series. Known as a collision between action sports and motorsports, the series showcases 16 rounds of professional racing from drivers piloting 900-horsepower race trucks competing to win a TORC National Championship.

The country's top professional short-course off road racers pilot their race trucks on TORC tracks reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph, jumping distances of 200 feet through the air all while navigating intense terrain oftentimes including ruts as large as two feet deep. These challenges create an intense testing environment for tires that must endure what could quite possibly be the toughest conditions in all of racing. Cooper Tire, the reigning TORC Series Tire Manufacturer of the Year, won back-to-back PRO Light Championships in 2015.

TORC's high energy events take place in some of the largest US markets including Chicago and Bark River, while also including the famed raceway in Crandon, Wis.; the largest off road event in the country with a storied history of over 45 years. Fans from all over the world enjoy TORC through TV broadcasts on FOX Sports and live webcasts at TORCSeries.com.

Sanctioned by the United States Auto Club (USAC), TORC operates 3 professional racing divisions. PRO Light, a 2 wheel drive 500HP spec class; PRO 2WD, a 2 wheel drive 900 HP class; and PRO 4WD, a 900 HP 4 wheel drive class and the series' main event. Cooper Tire sponsored drivers and teams compete in the PRO Light class on the highly acclaimed and award winning Cooper Tire Discoverer STT Pro DOT tires, while drivers in the Pro 2WD and 4WD classes compete on the Cooper Tire Discoverer PRO tire.
