Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over 50,000 miles I have a 2010 Explorer Sport Trac, had a lift kit installed and increased to 32 inch tires. am told it is the max lift and tire useable on this model with out redesigning the suspension since it is 4 wheel independant suspension. I live in the Seattle area and have many trips down to California and Arizona on the 50,ooo miles. Handles Snow and off road excellent traction. Still have close to half the tread depth. As the wear increases, the sound increases in howl on the highway.....still runs smooth and has very responsive touch at speed. When off road, the tread never even noticed snow or mud while in 4 x and with some experience driving off road I have all the confidence in going where I want to......handles sand well too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding off road tire Not much to say but I purchased a set back in october of 2015 and since then I have put almost 60,000 miles on them. Which in my view is almost in heard of by a aggressice off road tire like this. In a delivery driver so I drive about 150 miles a day with these.. I absolutely love these tires. My truck is a 2wd as well and the cooper stt pros make it power through just about anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great tire 295/65r20 on stock rims. 2012 F350 4x4. 2" leveling kit, dual steering stabilizers. 31,000 miles and tires are at 12/32 on all four corner. No cupping or feathering. Rotate tires and balance at 5,000 miles. Run 70psi on all 4 tires except when towing 5th wheel RV and pump rears up to 80psi. Unbelievable wear for a mud tire and are not squirmy pulling 16,000lb RV. I am running air bags on rear and this does make a world of difference. Run a lot of dirt and gravel roads as well highway. Great tire for off road on pipeline. They just work. Keep the balanced and run them like you stole them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY IS YOU HAVE A DIESEL My truck is rated at over 9,000lbs empty which is the average weight from factory for any F250 diesel. And is also considered the heaviest light duty truck out of any manufacture. These tires wear faster on my truck than any tire I have ever used. Discount tire talked me into throwing these on my truck when in reality they serve a better purpose for 1/2 ton gas trucks or jeeps. This is not recommened for a diesel pickup tire, especially when towing 30,000 pounds. What a waste of $2,000 which was only four tires that lasted me half a year before they were bald. They have no tread warranty either because they are a mud tire. I do not tow very often but when I do its heavy and they can not take it. I have been stuck in the mud on a construction site with out any trailer hooked up multiple times. Just with how heavy a truck is I guess nothing can save it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid all around MT I have these on a 2015 ram 1500 crew standard box ecodiesel 275/65/20 on factory rims from factory 60 series profile. I'm in Minnesota up by the Canadian Border. These tires produce a fair amount of noise on road coming from a factory highway Tire but by far not excessively loud. I'm going on about 9k mostly winter miles and I am a happy driver, can't even tell the tires have been driven on. Tons of tread. The rubber is stiff and there is not an abundance of siping so I have lost some winter traction. But not enough to complain. They ride nice, they howl a little, they handle pavement great, and as long as you have ground clearance you won't find yourself stuck. If you stop moving but aren't high centered then throttle through and these tires will dig and get moving again. Everything that I hoped for out of the Tire aside from maybe 4-5 decibels and MPG was hit a little harder than I hoped for. But i'm fighting winter MPG now also so it isn't just rolling resistance. Dropped from ~22 overall average to around 17-18MPG

Rated 3 out of 5 by from STT PRO Great off road traction !! But you can't hear yourself think. I bought these tires in the fall of 2016 for my 2016 Ram 3500 srw 4x4 with the Cummins and the Aisin which weighs in right at 8200 lbs unloaded. The size I have is 295/65/r20. They are on stock 20" wheels and I have Thuren leveled springs on the front end. I have approximately 6000 miles on the tires curently and I wanted to let others know how these tires ar doing for me. To start off I was embarrassed from the performance of the stock Firestone AT tires that came on this truck. I farm in central Illinois and drive in everything from deep sand to slick clay , from soft black swampy soil in the summer. On highways and gravel roads in the summer and in the winter. I also pull a bumper trailer with a 12,000 pound Takeuchi skid steer at least once a week through all of those conditions. Ok like I said I bought these tires because after getting stuck three times in mud less than 1" deep with the stock tires , it was time for something new. These tires will go places in 2 wheel drive that I wouldn't have even considered with the Firestones when in 4 wheel drive. The tires do great in mud , sand ,snow , and even pretty decent on ice. But after only 6,000 miles the tire howl so bad going down the highway that it sounds like i am driving down the rumble strip at 80mph weather I am going 30 mph or 70 mph on smooth highway. The tires seem to be wearing pretty evenly I just rotated them and had them rebalanced. I would say that they have about 90-95 % tread left. These stt pro tires are a great off-road but are obnoxiously loud on the highway. There has to be a quieter tire with great off road capabilities out there. These stt pros are driving me and my passengers nuts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great set of tires i have 33x12 stt pros on my 2005 f150 and the only flaws that i have noticed is that they are kind of loud when you are on paved roads, but they are a mud terrain tire. buy a set of all terrain tire if you dont want a set of tires that hum when you go down the road. they will crawl thru any mud hole, or dig thru any snow drift you throw them at.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good all around tire! Let me start off by saying I searched for probably 2 months before finding these tires and falling in love with the looks. What really made me pull the trigger were the aggressiveness and the advertisement of a quieter, longer lasting mud tire. I bought these tires when my truck had 9K miles on it. It now has 45K on it. Ohh btw my STT PRO's are 275/65/20's. These tires appear to still have 40% tread left on them. (I rotate them every oil change which is 5-6K) It's hard to believe they have 36K on them and I think I can get another 10-15K easy and I'm not the kind of guy to ride around on tires until they are totally bald and unsafe! I've heard many horror stories of people only getting 20-25K miles on mud tires. Haven't really driven them in snow as I am from the deep south. Also forgot to mention probably 20% of my mileage is towing a 16' enclosed trailer with 2 large atv's or towing a small utility trailer with 1 large atv on it. Here's the scoop. Good: Awesome looks and great off-road capability. Very good on dry or wet pavement (surprisingly). They are durable. I have jumped many curbs, rode through rocky terrain, embankments etc and not a scratch on the sidewalls. Not bad price compared to other brands "similar tires". Bad: They are a little rough riding but being a 10 ply with extreme tread pattern that should be expected. They are a little noisier than I had hoped for but coming from a brand new F-150 Platinum 4x4 with Bridgestone Alenza's for the first 9K that's a tough comparison. I haven't owned many M/T's but they are hands down a better tire than the Nitto Mud Terrain in every category. I also had Firestone Destination M/T's on an old Z-71 but it had a loud exhaust so hard to compare road noise. The STT PRO's are definitely lasting longer and are a little better offroad and hands down better on pavement wet or dry. Conclusion: Not 100% sure if I will buy these again or not just because 80-90% of my driving is on pavement so I don't really need the aggressiveness and I miss my brand new super quiet riding truck (and the wife complains about them) but if I do go back with another set of M/T's or extreme terrain type tires these will without a doubt be the tires I buy. May consider the ST MAX or the ATIII. Still undecided as I plan to get another 6 months to a year out of these.
