This tire showcases four wide, notched circumferential grooves with a center rib that provides resistance to hydroplaning, while improving traction. Its deep-biting, zig-zag sipes enhance wet traction and winter performance on snow and ice. The LSX's siped semi-open shoulder design provides great wet and snow traction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coopers since 1994 I have bought Cooper tires, sold Cooper tires and in my opinion they are a great value! I just put my third set ( this time the LSX) on my 2002 Toy Rav 4 and10000 miles later after rotation, they're wearing evenly. Road noise is minimal, rain ...good. When I lived in Wi., I had to replace my HTs at 6/32. Slush and rain on rutted roads caused my car to hydroplane. Of the two, the LSX is more comfortable.
