Tire Sizes & Specifications Will This Fit My Vehicle?

Features & Benefits

  • Micro-gauge corrugated siping optimizes all-terrain performance with an emphasis on winter traction.
  • SnowgrooveTM 2.0 provides better mechanical locking of snow into the grooves which generate higher snow-on-snow traction forces.
  • Twin tie-bars provide stability for confident handling and reduces irregular wear for longer tread life and a quieter ride.
  • Asymmetric dual-draft groove angles reduce the tire's tendency to retain stones and rocks, extending the life of the tire.
  • Chevron self-cleaning grooves provide enhanced all-terrain performance while the more aggressive offsets improve snow and loose surface traction.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great on / off road traction I got the LT ATWs because because they were a little higher and the tread was a couple 32nds deeper. I love the tires driving here in northern MN in Winter. The tires are a little loud after about 60 MPH but it's not an annoying sound But the traction on hard packed snow and ice is super. I researched tires for weeks to put on my 2010 Chev 4X4. I take an Icey turn and I purposely try to slide in the turns but these tires hold solid. The lugs and grooves are really much larger than the advertising pictures show. It's a tire compound ahead of its time. This new tire compound can be used year round and the tire has a 50K warranty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter tire I had these installed on my 2014 Ram Power Wagon to replace the off road tires that came on it, which were great off road but terrible on snow and ice. Right now we are in the midst of our first major snow and ice storm up here in frozen North Dakota and these tires are fantastic, great traction and braking on ice and compacted snow, also much quieter than the other tires, couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great in the snow but didn't last These tires were great in the snow and a quiet ride on the freeway. I've put right about 20k miles on them with regular rotations and balance and they're down to 6/32". They're currently installed on an unmodified TOYOTA Tundra with OEM sizing. I'm not happy with the wear at all to say the least. They were less expensive than the TOYO Open Country A/T II I had on previously, but looks like I'm heading back to TOYO's. Wish they had better wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Tires! I bought these tires in November 2015 after much research on Toyo Open Country, Yokohama Geolandar and other Cooper Discoverer models. I wanted a fairly quiet all-terrain tire. I regularly tow a small landscape trailer with my 2003 Pathfinder SE. I was replacing Hankook highway tires that were on the truck when I bought it. The Hankooks had worn terribly in a short time so durability was a must. I was attracted to the “all-weather” rating of the A/Tw as I wanted one tire for the best year round reliability. After reading about the terrific performance in winter conditions and the unique durable compound suitable to dry pavement I was sold on the A/Tw. My “SE” Pathfinder came with 255/65/16 tires but Cooper did not make the A/Tw in that size so I opted to substitute the base model size of 245/70/16 – a little narrower and perhaps actually better suited to driving in the snow. The tires were on sale and were also eligible for a rebate from Cooper. With installation, tax and rebate, the total cost was under $700 - far less than the other tires I was looking at. Well, after more than 10 months of driving – and towing my work trailer almost daily – I can report that these tires have exceeded my expectations greatly! I’ve driven in mountain snow, torrential rain, and numerous trips on British Columbia's highways and Interstate 5 in Washington State. The hot dry summer was no trouble for wear even with the vehicle fully loaded. Highway noise is minimal. I’ve even taken them off road on some local logging roads with full confidence. The tires did retain several small stones afterward (3/8-1/2" dia.) but removal was easy. They’ve proven very forgiving against rocks and curbs too. I would highly recommend these tires. The fact I got such an incredible price on them makes them even better. If you’re looking for a durable all-terrain tire and want winter performance too, buy the Copper A/Tw – you won’t regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST A/T SNOW TIRE YET!!!! Living in North Dakota we are guaranteed two things - ice and snow! I've been though a plethora of tires on my trucks, from the AT3, BFG KO, Goodyears and Falkens - NOTHING HAS BEAT THE ATW for snow performance yet!!! I have just over 10K on these tires and they are showing no signs of wear, on a 2009 Silverado Crew Cab 1500. I went from sliding everywhere on ice to feeling like I had studded tires, these are phenomenal! I'm purchasing a new truck this summer and having the dealer install these tires before I take delivery, I think they are that great!!! Snow performance - I fish Devils Lake and drive my truck out there; I will hit pockets of snow greater than 2' deep - these tires pulled right through without concern. Ice performance - My Wild Peak AT's slid all over the place; put these on and the same road on the same day and I felt like I was driving on pavement. Road noise - these are quieter than the Wild Peaks but will have slightly more noise than a factory tire. Gas mileage - I saw an increase from my Wild Peaks of approximately 1.5 MPG (275/60R20) which isn't much off of "factory" mileage. The compound is a little softer but I noticed no negatives to this, I will say winter driving conditions warrant this tire over the AT3 anyday!
