Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires for your old ride! I’m running these on a 1970’s Chevy short van. Been running them on there for the last 2000 miles or so. Great tires there quiet and smooth on the road, they also have a lot of grip, I noticed an improvement in handling and gas mileage both with these great tires! Have already recommended them to many friends with old cars!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tires Got these on my hot rod and I love em ! I don't go anywhere without at least one burn out and these tires take all I can dish out . And they kept the same tread design so when I replace them they will match the fronts. Way to go Cooper !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking tire at great price I finally replaced my rims on 70 Ranchero. I had TAs on before and that is what I planned on going with because of reading reviews about bad wet weather handling. But I have Coopers CS5 Grand Touring on my 63 Falcon and they are great handling tires so I decided to go with Radial Gt. First these tires look great with the RWL and my new rims. This is the look I wanted. Second the price, my local tire shop gave me a great deal on these tires. Most important the handle, in dry weather these tires handle great and have not noticed any more road noise than my TAs. Now for my big concern wet handling. I live in Ca. and recently had to drive the Sierra in the rain, at time my wiper could barely keep up with the water. But my Coopers handle it well. At first I was cautious but as I continued to drive I pushed it more and never felt like there was a problem both at freeway speed or while driving on the really curvy wet streets. So if the wet handling is your concern let me tell you don't worry these tires stick to the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This tire is a Awesome Tire I’ve bought Cooper Cobra GTs for years, and I’ve got them on a 2005 Ford Ranger XLT, and it will out corner any cars that get behind me! They are a quiet tire, and they seem to just stick to the road, in wet or dry pavement! I wouldn’t buy any other tire! I just love it when a car gets behind me in corners, because they can’t keep up with My little Red Ranger!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible handling, not-so-great treadware I had a set of four 225-70-14 cobras on my 79 Camaro. Didn't take long to shred through the rears, but I expected that. What I didn't expect was fast wear on the front tires. I noticed abnormal wear on the fronts so I took the car in to check my alignment. The alignment was perfect, tire pressure perfect, and they still wore funny. My steering also wandered quite a bit with them. When the rears were replaced with Hankook Ventus H101 tires my steering got way better. I drove with Hankook rears and cooper fronts for about six months, and the steering still wandered a little. Eventually replaced the fronts with BF Goodrich Radials and all my steering wander immediately went away. While the coopers were fairly grippy, quiet tires, and looked good, I will not be getting them again.
